Hey guys, jesus it has been a long time. This is my little cover - or i must say interpretation - of Katatonia´s Song Idle Blood. The past few months i was always thinking about recording something from Katatonia because i really love the Band and the dark atmospheric songs they make. It fits perfect when i´m sitting in my car and driving throught snowy winterland.
I must say i´ve exaggerated quite a lot. Usually i chill alot more. I was just a little nervous :D. As i previously said, its not a perfect cover and there are a lot of mistakes.
For recording i used T.bone-mics, an sm57 for snare and triggers on the bass as i just rearranged my kit as you can see. (Its now very "metal" ... i guess). For software i used Ableton Live. The sound is kinda shitty aswell as the playing but i guess its better than no video :)
