A very useful video,but I think I'd have to look hard to find a poncho like that.I live in Hawaii,and checked out Sports Authority.Have not yet saw a poncho like that.

Ripstop nylon? That thing must be light! I have an older than dirt military poncho that size and it's some sort of heavily rubberized fabric and it is certainly not very light, but guaranteed waterproof!

If you had two poles you could actually lie down and sleep rather than be restricted to such a small space.

This isnt going to work out real well in reality other than for maybe a cramped lunch break. A poncho is a very limited design for an emergency shelter, best to use it to its greatest diminsions. Very well presented vid however!
