This Old Camaro

Here is an old video from when I was 20, recorded in 1988 by my dad. Its my dad goofing on the This Old House show, when I was working on restoring my 1968 camaro. It shows me painting my camaro WHITE laquer. I did a crappy job & it came out very dull-looking. The following summer, I painted it AGAIN, but this time Yellow acrylic enamel. Both times I tried to do it right, by removing all chrome, and making sure I painted inside the door jams and the edges of the hood, etc. I owned the car from 1987 til about 1996 and drove it daily.

I sold it & I cried that day. But I had it for 11 years (1987-1997) and drove it daily. It came out pretty good. No show car, but a parking lot looker.
