  • Henderson also had good taste in picking out other arrangers/composers. "Radio" is by Nat Leslie, who did only a few instrumentals we know of. He also used charts by John Nesbitt, Will Hudson, Bill Challis, and Benny Carter.

  • @irenicum Makes two of us. Henderson is second to none, original, probably "the father" of the "the big band" - and so many original compositions during 20 and 30 No wonder Duke Ellington gives him so much - welldeserved! - credit in "Music is my mistress".
