in addition to the earthquake, the fact that these homes were NOT built adequately caused the huge massive destruction of not just buildings but lives -- this is far more than just weather "abnormality" -- the life loss was due mostly inadequate construction!!!!

The Chinese are outraged, rightfully so, and demanding China government develop better regulations and rules regarding construction and enforcing both existing and any new laws.

SAD how ppls lives do not come 1st.
