Dubstep gun tests

I have now started sixform at my school so I have less time to make videos.
To keep my content good I will now be uploading once every two weeks.

I hoped you liked these tests I did, thanks to richardulz for help with the displacement map.

Scuse me, how do you make the displacement maps from the lasers?

@thebigbadwolf96 I made a extra version of the lazer, made it red and then added an adjustment layer with the displacement and set it to red, search "after effects displacement map tutorial" on google or youtube cus im bad at explaining things XD.

nice, btw. how to put this laser into 3D space?? - how to put laser into tracking scene and hook laser to one point ??

how did you learn this? did you see any tutorial? if so, which one?

@oxic93 I didnt use any tutorials, just fiddled around with the plugin until I knew what did what

Hey! Try using the Screen or Add blending modes/layer modes for the Form layer(s), it lights things up. Also if you can, light up the area around it as best you can using masks and blurs - maybe pre-comp your Form layer and blur it, then apply it to the floor (or walls too) so that it brightens whenever the beam does. Just for effect.
