Alright everybody. Here is the final trailer for my project, "Superman Genesis". It is regularly long, and fits in just the right amount of everything. I told you I'd get this in around when the finale ends, and so I did.

I want to talk about the finale, actually. Smallville is my favorite TV Show of all time, and I know it like the back of my hand. I was so attached to that universe, I was almost in tears to see it end(Not because I'm a complete geek, but because all the characters have really grown on me, and they've made a wonderful setup for a show that really only had potential to last 3-5 when it came out). I honestly loved the finale. Sure, they didn't have an epic fight, or a full shot of him in the suit. But that's not even what I was looking forward to. I was looking forward to the wrap up and all the nods to the previous seasons. I loved the ending(Honestly I thought that's ALL we were going to get so I'm happy we atleast got more). I loved the acting. I loved the story(It felt like a movie). I loved the writing. I loved the effects. I loved the ending. I even loved the emotion-based Part 1. I thought it was even more epic than it was action-packed. Which is fine with me. I was completely satisfied, and that's just my opinion.

Feel free to tell me what you thought about it in the comments!

Anyway, this project is sort of like that. All I'm doing, as stated before, is bringing all the Superman-type footage and bringing it together to make it seem like a Superman movie. Yes it is an origin story. But this is a new take on it(I will not be including anything related to the Donner-verse. Even the theme). I like the theme, but I want to take a new, epic spin on it. It's also just a jam-packed event with some of my favorite clips and scenes from Smallville. I really hope you guys stick around for when I release it in July.

But...yeah, that's pretty much it. Those are my thoughts and I just wanted to clear that up, in-case anyone is confused. I hope you all enjoy!

  • Glad we aren't going the same route with our films. Figured someone else was bound to have a similar idea, I look forward to your film aswell friend!

  • @AListProductions Yeah, if that were to happen we would have had to do something stupid like watermark it or something. Thanks! I can't wait for yours too, your latest trailer blew my mind.

If fans wants to see more of Tom in the suit, I'd say they should go to yours, as mine is the journey there, using the clips that coincide with the Superman movies. Although, I'm gonna kind of capitalize on him wearing the suit when it get's to that time.

  • @SouperboyX Thanks alot dude! I have alot of touching up to do on effects and what not, I hope it turns out as I imagine it. Thanks for the friendly views. Is yours coming out in July?

  • @AListProductions Yeah, July 1st. I'm only about half way done with the whole thing. Still got a lot of work to do.

  • @MrRedk23 The thing that I like about Superman, is that he has the ability to give people hope. Sure, he has all these great powers, and an amazing backstory, but he is probably the most likeable comicbook character out there. Sure, it would have been nice to see him in the suit more, but I think Tom Welling does an AMAZING job at playing THAT character. The one who pulls people out of the darkness. He would be a great Superman, if he wanted to be. I liked the end result though.
