The final version (sorta) of the video I made for my school's Remembrance Day assembly. The older version is the one with Mad World playing (at the very end).

Clips: All Quiet on the Western Front, Band of Brothers, Saving Private Ryan, and a Canadian history documentary that I found in the school library (I think it's called "World War 2 in Colour" or something, but the clips from that were taken from real life)

Song 1: Almost Martyrs (from The Life of David Gale)
Song 2: Schindler's Theme (from Schindler's List)
Song 3: Mad World (from Donnie Darko) by Gary Jules

I found some clips with Canadian troops in them, so it's better suited for Remembrance Day now. Also, I saw Passchendaele: EPIC FAIL. I'm warning you, don't waste $12.00 in the theatres, don't even rent it, it's terrible.

Lest We Forget.

  • does any one know the song usually played at school assembly's for tribute to the troops I want to know really bad it is awesome.

  • I think you're referring to "The Last Post"; the bugle call often played before and/or after the moment of silence.
