Today I want to show you guys the newly discovered "Shortcut" Widgets for iOS 5. These will help you easily access different areas of the settings which would normally take a little more taping and browsing to do. The shortcuts provide you with one touch access to Settings Menus like WiFi, Brightness, Airplane Mode, and more. They don't require jailbreaking of any kind. This is something that was only native to jailbreak users but now thanks to the new mobile configuration URL's of iOS 5, we can now have these same shortcuts with a quick and simple work around. These are completely safe and legal to install but do so at your own risk. These special shortcut icons are created with the iPhone Configuration Utility from Apple. You can create your own with different custom icons if you know how by using the URL's below. To install the pre-configured homescreen icon settings visit the links below
