Why do you have to argue which Final Fantasy has the better story? ITs all one company with a fantastic series of games, they are all linked really. You should argue which COMPANY is better, Square Enix or other companies, but even so.

But in my opinion FF games are all perfect up until number 11 and then the rest just arnt so good, the exceptions being Dissidia and this Crisis Core.

But my favourite would have to be FF2 right now, fantastic Rebel army story and music :P

to the guys arguing over what storyline is better 1 final fantasy 7 has the greatest storyline off any ff seris and off any game really theres not much off a compotition just look off the amount off prequals and sequals and movies and tv programs :) and it doesnt matter if it sold more thats just numbers purly the fact that over 9.8m people got to enjoy the game as much as me and ffx does have a good storyline but just doesnt come anywhere close to ff7
