Why did you remove the cylinder head if all you're doing is R&R and sending the engine to someone else? Seems like there was about 2 days worth of unecessary work here...And those intake gaskets looked pretty ugly to me.

You want to talk a real way to diagnose a crack head by not taking it apart. Get a gas analyzer and it will show if you have a crack heads/bad gaskets.
