  • I really, really think you should consider pulling your "instruction" videos, of which there are many, off YouTube. I appreciate you are trying to help but posting your videos under the category of "teaching" is ludicrous. You can barely play yourself. Please don't take this in the wrong way, but you really are not qualified to give ANY advice on the violin. I suggest you spend the time practising, rather than wasting it pretending you can teach anyone about an instrument you are a beginner on.

  • I've just listed the out-of-print Galamian "Principles of Violin Playing and Teaching,"along with other out-of-print vintage sheet music in my Etsy store. You can find it by Googling "Laura's Last Ditch Etsy Music."

  • 2nd vid also superflouos

  • @FiddlerAdam Your reply had just about nothing to do with mine. Perhaps if you thought before trying to post your comments would be valuable to someone. As they are now, they betray a person who speaks without substance.

  • Anybody who is watching this should do themselves a favor and not listen to anything this incompetent fool is saying. There are a host of other players who actually know how to play, professorV for example. This girl does NOT know what she's talking about.

  • Firstly, to all violinists, if you want to learn Galamian technique, I suggest acquiring Ivan Galamian's book called "Principles of Violin Playing & Teaching". This book is a must have for all intermediate to advanced violinists. Honestly if you want to teach his technique (or even learn it) you should read his book.

My private teacher studied under Galamian at Meadowmount and is currently teaching me in Galamian's style
