  • i want to turn vegan but i find it very hard to stay away from meat... i was raised all my life eating meat and now that im 23 i find it hard to leave it.... i have tried it for a day and before the day ends all of my thoughts are on meat, and ribs and burgers hahahaha and i start getting nervous and impatient, is that part of the process too? is it normal to get all crazy the first few days with out meat?

  • @affirmativeaction BTW I may have went vegan the same year you were born. I went vegan Nov 28, 1988.

  • Thank you for informing folks.

  • @affirmativeaction Try veggie burgers, veggie hot dogs and veggie bacon. They taste like meat without the cruelty. Whenever you crave meat, watch Paul McCartney's video that says meat-eating will destroy the human race. The VA Tech massacre happened exactly five days after the death of Slaughterhouse Five author Kurt Vonnegut. VA Tech is the alma mater of meat-promoting Hoda Kotb; she and Kathie Lee Gifford eat lamb and kangaroo on The Today Show. Notice their horrible personal lives.

  • @affirmativeaction It may be hard. But it shouldn't seem quite so hard when you think about how many lovely, intelligent animals you are abusing and consuming by not following a vegan diet, and how many you could save if you did follow a vegan diet. I think the much more difficult thing is living with the endless abuse and murder you are currently encouraging. Compassion towards all beings is a much easier task.

  • @affirmativeaction Yes, it IS hard but its NOT impossible. Believe you can do it! I truly believe you can, I did. PEACE&LOVE

  • Wondering why no one tried DietOramy eating plan? I was aimlessly hitting Google and discovered it - I must say it truly is the very first eating plan that I've tested out that doesn't make me feel continuously famished, and I am nonetheless losing extra load.

  • @affirmativeaction Also, I've been veg now for a little over a year. I'm a 19 year old male, and I feel terrific. Before I started I was overweight, now I'm the healthiest I've been. I feel more energetic, I need less sleep, and overall just feel good. I think it's so funny though how still to this day after more than a year of my life, I have people asking how much longer it's going on for, it just baffles them when I say it's for life. you'd think after a year I had pretty much made my mind.

  • @affirmativeaction Focus on exploring new foods, try cooking vegan meals, do it all slowly, maybe start with one meat free day of the week, read books, and watch documentaries exposing the atrocities committed on factory farms, and in slaughter houses, just to become more educated on where your meat comes from, what's in it, and how that animal lived it's life. I think what you'll find is something that won't have you thinking twice about eating meat again.

  • @affirmativeaction read the book skinny bitch
