From studying war, civilians are always caught in the center of it all. Urban warfare is the worst of it. Targets are unidentified and hard to differentiate between hostile and civvy. Of course ground control, given the oh so recent armed engagements in both Somalia and Iraq, remembering the cost to American lives from mistakes, thought it a "juicy opportunity" to at least take out some Taliban/Al Qaeda forces from the city. Of course coming from a civvy like you, just one civvy is unacceptable.

i do not see any war crimes i just see war. get over it civilians are a small cost to victory. that is an acceptable part of war. i highly doubt that they intentionally attacked civilians there was a reason they attacked you do not now what it is like until you are in it.
