The person we did it to was the head of an international terrorist organization who was motivated by the barbaric islamic religion into murdering several thousands innocent men women and children intentionally and beheading a Jewish journalist with a knife and bragged about it. And he had information which could lead to the capture of lots of his buddies. I wish we did more to him than just waterboard him. They should have dipped him in acid and sand papered his flesh off.

If waterboarding is "torture", then a bullet to the head is "murder".  But I want our soldiers to be able to "murder" those who attack us. And in a war, intel is more valuable than body counts, so I think waterboarding in war just makes sense.
