May 2009 - Gabriel Orozco, the Mexican contemporary artist, opened his first solo show for three years in Mexico City last month at the Kurimanzutto art gallery.
Orozco used natural materials that he gathered from the Mexican states of Puebla, San Luis Potosi, Queretaro and Oaxaca to put together the show. Despite the H1N1 flu outbreak gripping Mexico City, hundreds of people turned out for the launch.
