  • Good video on the disassemble on the M&P9... the only thing I would suggest is to not use the tool provided with the gun unless absolutely necessary... use a pencil or a small screw driver instead. The more you take that tool out, the looser it's gonna get and then it might fall out while your shooting. Since it holds the palm swell, that wouldn't be a good thing...

  • You know man,..I would agree. You are right. I was just showing everyone that it's there and that's what they want you to use but you are right I do use a small flat head screw driver.

  • You know if there is a round in the chamber and no magazine in the gun... it wont discharge...right?

  • UM,,,..... Yes it will.

  • Actually both of you are right... Some M&P's have a magazine safety (which means it is not supposed to fire a round in the chamber without a magazine) and some M&P's do not have this safety (which means it will fire a round in the chamber without a magazine). To find out if your M&P has this safety, check for a warning on the side of the slide that reads caution can fire without magazine, if it has this than you do not have a mag safety. I always assume that a gun will fire anyhow. BTW nice vid!

  • Well, to tell you the truth I didn't know they made one with the Mag Safety. But I know mine will fire without the mag in. And thanks for the comment on the video.

  • Damn, you don't clean the slide or the top of the frame or even the outside of the barrel? Frame rails must be filthy!

  • thanks

  • Be careful anyway - many people will personally remove the Mag Disconnect safety. I did.

As many of us know (and all of us should)

    1) The Gun is always loaded.....

  • Good video and excellent comments. Please keep up the good work.

  • Tested mine at the range, along with a buddies .40 .. both did not discharge.

In any case im not saying you should trust a safety, as anything mechincal can break.

  • It will. Never trust any safety... especially that one.
