Here is an update in the bus conversion of my 1978 MCI MC8. Still lots to do, but she's come a long way.

  • Was going to give you some encouragement, but the President Obama comment drew the line, be an American on whoever the president is and be respectful as well Look where we all are after Bush left us all high and dry.

  • @Max1Chase1 Thanks for watching, I do respect the office, however this is where I draw a line. This asshole will never hold my respect, he has done more damage to this country than Bush ever could. My bus conversion was to get an Air Force One paint job, however we are holding off on this until Obama is long gone. Have a nice day

  • We are doing our Motorhome! There is always something to do...great job :)

  • @lisa5boys Thanks so much for watching and commenting. Best of luck to you with your conversion

  • Very Cool Man what a great job! How Much does a mci bus cost..I want one...

  • @CombatArchery Well......an MCI can vary widely in it's price. Check EBay about every 3 days, a wide variety of years, and models are posted. I chose the MC8 for it's construction, durability, and classic looks. Once the stainless steel is polished out, she is going to gleam! But.....I have less money in this coach than if I were to buy a used ten year old class A motorhome. Going with a commercial tour bus, is the only way to fly, will last MUCH longer than any CLA MPG is 11

  • Cool...I just saw the roaming gnome!!

  • Nicely done.

  • Love the dogs.Great job.

  • Lovely choice of bus. The newer ones are not only too expensive, but the manufacturer has forgone the timeless stainless steel body shells for cheaper painted panels, for cost cutting purposes. I also like the way you accomplished the job. It's excellent quality. It's modern where it counts, but you haven't try to 'overdone' it. In other words, you didn't try to metamorphose it into a 'modern' bus, instead you respected and lovingly preserved the bus classic look.

  • Love the song can i steal, no borrow some ideas. Converted my 9, moved cross country. Stick home not finished had to fulltime for three months now that i have time re-converting with lessons learned. Btw did I mention, fulltime three months with ten kids two dogs and a cat.... time for some upgrades Good job on yours

  • Love the closing credits. "Never Recycle"! LOL. You have earned the honorary "Pile of Burning Tires" award!
