Well, i ended up not going through with doxy, just went with this topical gel they gave me and that thing worked wonders. Cleared up everything, just have a few little visible marks but they show signs of healing. Thank you again for all your help though! :D

I use doxy. i think it works pretty well but i haven't been using it very long at all. it's an antibacterial pill so it mainly just prevents new acne from forming, especially big pimples and cysts. the scars can't be fixed by pills. those you have to exfoliate over time or try a cream for. other than that i think it does it's job so good luck! :]

@KayteeisLuv17 Thank you for the input! Yeah it's been doing pretty well are preventing acne. I've gotten a few small-medium sized pimples since I've been on it but my skin has definitely improved. I've been using an exfoliating face wash and still use other acne products so I'm still hoping I can get more from doxy. Thank you so much and i wish you good luck as well!

I've just started taking this stuff for an eye infection. Can you tell me if you've experienced any headaches or stomach issues ?

Can u swallow the doxycycline capsules whole? Or can you open it and sprinkle the contents in ur mouth? - I've been opening the capsules then putting it in my mouth , is that good?

hey did your acne get worse before better when taking the pill because i am about to start taking it but i have light/mild acne?

i have been taking it for 4 days now and i havent seen any real results. i suspect that it has tragically dried out my skin (but then again that could be the ponoxyl acnegel 5)...

anyways, how long is it gonna take since you start seeing any real results?

my doctor did warn me that the process is very slow and could take anything between 6 months and a yr!

does it help a lot?

did you see a reduction in the amount of break outs?
