Diplômé d'ESCP Europe, Stéphane Distinguin rejoint en 1997 le cabinet Deloitte & Touche. En 1999, il participe à la création d'Up&Up, fonds d'investissement «early stage».
Entrepreneur français et activiste associatif dans le domaine de l'innovation, il crée faberNovel en 2003.
Il a également participé au lancement en France de nouveaux formats d'événements et de rencontres tels que les BarCamps, les MobileMondays, les CleanTech Tuesdays et TEDx Paris, ainsi qu'à la création des coworking spaces du réseau des Cantines, de PariSoma à San Francisco et de l'accélérateur de start up Le Camping...
Par ailleurs, Stéphane Distinguin est co-président de l'Atelier Français plate-forme des industries culturelles et créatives françaises et président d'honneur de Silicon Sentier (dont il a été Président durant 7 ans), association regroupant près de 150 sociétés franciliennes dans le domaine des TIC.

Stéphane Distinguin graduated from ESCP Europe in 1997 and joined Deloitte & Touche. In 1999 he participates in the creation of Up&Up, an early stage investment fund. In 2003, he creates faberNovel.
As a French entrepreneur and activist in the field of new technology and innovation Stéphane participated in the launch of new formats of events like BarCamps, MobileMondays, CleanTech Tuesdays or TEDxParis. He also played an important role in the creation of the coworking spaces of the 'Cantines" network, of PariSoma in San Francisco and the start-up accelerator Le Camping.
Having leaded Silicon Sentier (an association bringing together 150 French high-tech SMEs) during 7 years, Stéphane is now its Honorary Chairman. He is also co-chairman of Atelier Français.
