  • i realise its mistakenly refered too as the chromatic scale

but unfortunatly the way i played it here (mistakenly about a year ago)

is half half half half whole half half half half whole half half half half whole half half half half half half half half half

    sorry :-p

  • for the pure strength exercise, are you pulling off? or just hammering and releasing your fingers? or plucking the string while pulling off?

  • im hammering on and pulling off without strumming to build up strength

  • haha did i say you could impress someone witht hat?? obviously you cant

but hey, flight of the bumble bees :)

and its a fretless because i couldnt get the last frets in :P

  • is that an ibanez s prestige ?

  • ha no, that is a guitar that i built for myself :-p

  • best way to build finger strength is to play on a cheap crappy acoustic with high action for a little bit each day at least

  • Thanks so much for taking the time to make this and post it. I just picked up the guitar about three months ago and your video is extremely helpful.

    Nice work. : )

  • lol u got stuck on ur g string >.<

  • Call us fag bros.lol What are you doing with your life kid.

  • Omg a guitar that is half fretted half man!

  • I HAVE THE MOST POWERFUL GOATHORNS!

  • frethless :P i wonder whats the feeling like to play this sort of guitar

  • can i just ask y do u care, it works, i no its rong but still

  • its an exorcise not the complete chromatic, if you threw in the opens it might sound better but no real fingerstrenght value

  • DUDE, WHERES ALL YOUR FRETS!?

  • Maybe I am seeing and hearing this wrong, but in 1st position from the 6th string up you seem to be playing: F F# G G# | Bb B C C# | D# E F F# | G# A Bb B | C C# D Eb | F F# G G#

I must be off in my hearing. I hear four notes per string, no open strings, and a missed note on every string except the third string. When playing chromatically, you have to playing the next string a fret lower when ascending, or higher when descending.
