2nd track off the mind-blowing 2012 LP, "Paralytic Stalks". SUPPORT OF MONTREAL/POLYVINYL RECORDS AND BUY THE ALBUM AT http://www.polyvinylrecords.com/store/index.php?id=2004

© and ℗ of Montreal/Polyvinyl Records, 2012. I do not own this material nor do I pretend to. However, under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use. Despite the general belief that this use resides in the aforementioned territory of fair use, the uploader will willingly and immediately take down the video if you message him or email brodyjackson775 [at] gmail [dot] com - it would be pointless though, you can only serve to gain from this publicity provided for no charge by simply a lover of the music. Thanks for your understanding.

  • @xthecure999 The album has already leaked, and Polyvinyl has responded by distributing authorized MP3's to pre-orders, so I think both Kevin and Polyvinyl have submitted to the fact that people are going to hear PS prior to February 7th. I'm just making the leak more easily accessible. As I say in the description - if the band or anyone authorized to act on their behalf have any problems whatsoever with this video being up, they will contact me and I will immediately remove it without question.

  • I think Kevin's just been recording himself whenever he has a mental breakdown and then setting them to music afterwards for these last few albums. They've all been really raw and personal. It takes some serious stones to write songs like these.

  • Kevin's always judged so harshly for his work, which I guess is due largely to the fact that of Montreal is 11 albums deep, but I actually love how each album progressively pushes the limits of what defines the band. It doesn't sound like a mess to me, just unconventional compared to what I think the SHOULD sound like. Sometimes life is disjointed and messy, and when you can reflect that in a song, you get beauty.

  • i want lyrics or do i have to do it and post it here lol

  • omg im crying.

  • I spend my waking hours haunting my own life, I made the one I love start to cry tonight... love this song

  • This song is totally magic... A pocket symphony, like "good Vibrations" under MDMA.... It's totally mad, but it attracts you... It's perfect, so chaotic, but so rich in everything... A shame I don't understand the words!!

  • So amazing.....

  • Best Song of the new album

  • dont get me wrong i love these guys but many of the songs on this album sound like a complete mess, im sorry just my opinion the album cover really does it justice.

  • I'd imagine the pirated/leaked album is a good enough advertisement to get them a fair few sales:) I preordered after hearing this track for the first time
