This is the ORIGINAL Jaws ride from 1990. It was removed after it was deemed too unreliable and replaced with the current ride.

wow, alot of that ride has changed,i still think that the current update to the ride is better,if only they could keep the part where jaws pulled the boat at a 90 degree angle but still would of had the flames exploding.

Universal Orlando Resort announced that the JAWS! attraction and the Amity Area will close permanently on January 2, 2012 to "make room for an exciting, NEW, experience."
:'(( sucks that I won't get another chance to ride it again...
