@Tsonchi Afraid so. In the original one, the concept wasn't thought of until the English release of the game, in which the trials of the Nobodies was added. After doing that, you could fight the Nobody bosses from Chain of Memories, and unlock the rest upon beating Xemnas. Except this time, you can save after beating the game, thus unlocking stronger versions of the Nobody leaders, and the Terra fight in Disney Castle
If you're lucky enough, get your hands on a PS3 console that was designed to run PS2 games, because I hear it was a console that could run NTSC and PAL formats, and import the game from eBay. It costs roughly £/$60 - 70, and it comes with a Japanese copy of Chain of Memories
