This video is from the callback round of the 2009 National Fine Arts Competition. (faf.ag.org) In the Human Video ensemble, small category, "One Man" was awarded 8th place.

*Note- I personally had no part in the ideas of this song. i simply recorded this performance and put it up here so others might be inspired to use their talents for God as well

I don't think the judges were strict on the new rule because it just went in the rulebook this year, or maybe some of them didn't know, but there's now a 3 song rule for human videos. Just so ya'll know for next year. ON THE OTHER HAND, great human video :) I really liked it

Really! wow, that is a change. Do you know if that includes using spoken word stuff? like how they have people speaking throughout the songs. is that going to count for a "song"?

Yeah I know! BIG CHANGE! And the person we spoke to at the national office said that voiceovers DO count as a song if you use a separate music track for it. SO for example, if you did a voiceover over Amazing because it is, it wouldn't matter, but because there was a new song under the voiceover, it counts.

Like I said, it's a new rule so they probably don't have the specifics down. it's really just to keep groups from mixing 15 songs together lol. It's very vague in the rulebook.

This is an amazin human video I saw them perform because they were right before my church's performance of becoming Paul and I'm glad I did it's amazin:)

And you can only have 3 songs and voiceovers don't count.. Js

Well the person I talked to the national office said that they didnt. They said that as long as the voice overs did not dominate the entire human video, like being there instead of lyrics. And the voice overs are only over the songs Collide and Fix You. Just because i used a different segment of the music doesnt mean its a new song. It says the splicing of up to three songs is permitted, it doesnt set regulations on how you can splice those songs.

Actually there are only 3 songs in this mix. Spoken voice overs/voice clips are not counted as songs. The songs used are Collide by Skillet, Amazing Because it Is by The Almost, and Fix You by Coldplay.
