  • Very well done, especially for a pair of High Schoolers! I hope this gets more views. :-)

  • I didn't know Beethoven had a Sonata for 4 hands! Hmmm...

  • Really nice piece but it's intended for one piano and sounds no better on two. Also the performance is blurry and sounds unrehearsed. Each player overtakes the other so it's often out of balance. Then there is the problem of maintaining a consistent tempo. Anyone can play this at breakneck speed. The point is to stay together, HELP each other to sound musical, and emphasize the beauty of the piece. Speed isn't so impressive. Making music IS.

  • They skipped two whole sections in the second movement (C and D)! It's a shame, since both sections are very beautiful, and especially section D, which consists of very creative variations and jokes on the themes.

But, tverall, the sonata is very nicely played. The only "mistake" I'd point out is that there is a noticeable speed increase during the execution of both movements (starts rather slow and then gets quite fast). But it's interesting anyway.

  • @KarrotKun1 Yes, and it seems it is one of his rare compositions written for didatic purposes, considering its (relatively speaking) modest demands. Also, the middle section of the second movement seems to be made to exercise rhythmic perception - provided the pianists aren't driven mad in the process.... :-)

  • Very enjoyable !!

  • well done, this piece is deserving of more of more recognition

  • incredible !! so awesome

  • very nice :)
