U2 Sweetest Thing (Demo version)

this recording was made as a test of the recording system proir to the recording of Joshua Tree.
I was fortunate enough to watch and hear bono make up sweetest thing for the first time ever and as He ensured that I took a recording away with me I wanted to share it with you lot. enjoy my kittens.

Hello,
I got to hang out with Bono and all the boys from U2. Sadly I also met Greg, he was the guy that picked me up from shannon airport.
He was killed during the making of joshua tree and we were all upset deeply by this. The music we made was gorgeous. I have a whole tape of lots more stuff, but I feel ashamed to put it on here and also understand that I would have copyright lawyers crawling out of my ass if I did,
I put the sweetest thing up because it was released and I thought , hey I recorded this and never got a penny. Other than the fourpence hapenny i got from the stingy buggers at amek.
I suppose I am a bit bitter because I'm so poor and they are so rich from the sweat of my brow.
life is shit and then you die.

its obious its Bono,like,just listen to any other song from the joshua tree,or even rattle and hum,theres no differnce really.And he changes his voice like that all the time,well b4 he started smoking,tahts why he is so quiet singin today,and i can easly tell his voice in taht era,ITS REALLY HIM!!!

it looked like hime at the time, and the rest of the band looked like themselves. I was in rathfarnham and I went to NotUs Ltd which is their company. But perhaps I was mistaken. I should throw the rest of the recordings in the bin as obviously evyone thinks I'm a liar. Ho hum

This version is with out a doubt the best one. They should definitley put this out. Would love to hear this live in concert. Thanks for the vid.
