Jack & Jennifer - Revival Tent Collapse (1989)

Jennifer is hurt when the revival tent she is doing a story on collapses. As Steve and others are trying to free her, Jack arrives in a panic. Steve is shocked by Jack's obvious concern for Jennifer. At the hospital Mike tells the family Jennifer's head injury could be serious. Jack watches on. Mike warns Jack to leave Jennifer alone when Jack is showing more than professional concern for her. Later after hearing that Jennifer will be OK, Jack sneaks into Jennifer's hospital room to encourage her to wake up.

Jack and Calliope share barbs at Blondies. Jack calls the hospital for an update on Jennifer. Later he brings flowers to the hospital for Jennifer but plays it down when she wakes up. He tells her he may have good news about Sally Wales. Jack encourages Jennifer to get better...

MAJOR turning point for Jack! This was the first time that he showed real feelings for Jennifer that went beyond regular employer/employee. And first time he was genuinely concerned for another's well being, without him gaining anything out of it.
