  • Quick question, every human being has the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, right? Ok, so if if someone's PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS is by choosing to end his misery, and he should have the LIBERTY to do so, then where's the problem? Or is it just because YOU want to live that everyone else is forced to follow wht you want?

  • Have you ever experienced a family member dying???

  • America is losing the sanctity of life. May God help us!

  • every single human being is born of free will and has the choice and brain power (unlike Terri's case) to do whatever they chose to do.

who are YOU to say "no one has the right..." you bible weilding freak!

  • woops. I voted to disagree with you when I meant to agree with you 100 percent

she was dead where she collapsed.

  • bingo! bang on

    kudos

  • These people who want to keep people artificially alive at any means possible even against that person's will are just fascist pigs who want to exert their control over not only what we can and cannot do to our bodies, but also the natural course of life and death itself. Spread your religious bullshit elsewhere, you fucking cowards.

And even if you are into Christianity and Scientology or w.e the hell you idiots believe in, your God put a stamp on her death, you rejected his cause.

  • This is total bull. The claims can't even be substantiated. Even if Terri was cognitive enough to reply "I want to live" there is no saying that that's what she was trying to say. For all we know she was trying to respond with "I want to die". We don't know that. Case dismissed.

  • If Terry had wanted to die, then no one should have stood in her way. However, I don't see from the information that she specifically made any requests to have her life ended or gave any indication for that sort of preference.

So how did they decide that she wanted that? Don't get me wrong, I'm with euthanasia but only if the patient firmly requests it even after extended counselling.

  • Totally Agree
