The images and text however are not printed with ink, but with light onto a light reactive surface which allows the content to stay visible for about one minute. Once the information has faded away, the printing process is repeated, creating an infinite stream of disap- pearing data. The sculpture is now available as a Limited Edition of 10 interactive pieces. A permanently installed camera and custom software allow the viewer to see her own portrait printed out seconds after the image was taken.
Great stuff. Can you tell me what dye is used on the light reactive material? Is it something that I can pick up or order? Are there different colors?
