Gm is the answer to rising salt, petulance, drought, poor nutrient content and disease. The EU should permit the usage of it. If I ever become a farmer I will be proud of the fact I use GM and grow it conventionally.

I think it is about time someone cleared up the facts and fears over GM food. So many times have I heard people quote that organic "tastes" better or is better for you. GM is 100% safe. Just research the facts before slandering Monsanto's work. I eat conventional food and always have done and I haven’t dropped down with cancer, I am very healthy. Conventional food tastes great and I bet GM is even better. All we need to do now is decriminalise in the EU so people like me can enjoy it.

I'm an Irish farmer, just saw this and I think it's fantastic. I've emailed the link to our main farming organisation, whether they'll do anything to help our PR or not is debateable!
