The Coalition to Unchain Dogs is a non-profit founded by Amanda Arrington in Durham, North Carolina in 2007. The Coalition has expanded into Raleigh, Charlotte, Greensboro, NC and Richmond, VA. In less than three years, volunteers of this organization have freed over 450 dogs from their chains by building free fences. We've also provided each with a vet appointment that includes free vaccinations and spay/neuter. Visit our website, www.unchaindogs.org to learn more.

  • People w/ no money to keep a dog in a proper home shouldn't be able to get a dog to begin with, what's the point of getting a dog if it's going to be chained outside his/her whole life?

  • I recognized Tiger instantly; his was the first Coalition YouTube I saw a few days ago, when a friend sent it to me. When I send in my donation, it's going to be in honor of Tiger and my Boxers. And I'd like it to help another Boxer get unchained. Will be in touch. (Actually, a year or two ago I learned about your organization through a video of a little boy and his dog; I have yet to come across it in my marathon viewing tonight. When I do, I'll let you know!
