  • @zzDzCzCzz ventura never liked hogan in real life it's well known!

  • I love how u can hear the crowd

  • @MalnourishedGoat I agree that Heenan was misused in WCW. Even he hated it. I have to disagree about Ventura though. He'd insult Hogan a lot, but it would always ring hollow. He'd do things like accuse Hogan of grabbing the tights when we all saw that it was a clean cover. He was the unpleasable detractor when everyone else saw that Hogan won again cleanly.

  • @MalnourishedGoat I remember Tony Schiavone used to shut down the Brain's comments whenever he would try and be his old self. Even in terms of Heenan trying to put over a heel with his typical bad guy biased commentary during a match. Ventura was a dick to every face character with his commentary so I wouldn't really call it jealousy. He used to chirp Tito Santana, Hillbilly Jim and others all the time as well. Shame the days of truly great managers, commentators and wrestlers are over.

  • Heenan always verbally attacked Hogan whilst subtly putting him over, like here. Ventura on the other hand, always tried to bury him. Jealousy, I guess. Bobby Heenan made wrestling fun for so many years... when he left the WWF, they lost a giant talent. Too bad WCW didn't know how to utilize the Brain (they asked him to lay off the comedy... ???? Why acquire the funniest man in wrestling history and then ask him to be serious?)

  • He's right. There is no force in the universe more powerful than Bobby Heenan's brain... never has been, in fact.

  • Bobby! Bobby! Bobby!
