Attendance at the Tokyo Auto show this year plummeted a whopping 57 percent. General Motors has decided to build the Cadillac Converj concept. Automotive seat and electronics supplier Lear emerges from bankruptcy. All that and more, plus Bob Carter, who runs the Toyota division in the American market, talks about how the company is dealing with all the bad news its run into lately.

  • the only reason the accelerator in a toyota would be anywhere near the floor mat is when the driver is trying to get out of the areo trucks, which are faster. honestly, a better solution would be more power, so you wouldnt have to floor the car all the time

  • Bob Carter from Toyota reminds me of a young captain Kangaroo, anyone else see it? Anyway tomorrow I am going to the opening of the Seattle International Auto show, anything you wanna see from two or three years ago? that is all we get as far as concept cars over here! LOL
