Released in North America in 1980 with every copy of McCartney 2, even though it says it's a promo. BTW-Do you like the new camera view?

  • I've got the same white label. I always found it interesting that this live track got lots of airplay here in Los Angeles on KUTE 102. An R&B/Disco station. It was also popular in dance clubs than faded back into obscurity.

  • That's strange, I wouldn't expect something like that to be popular in dance clubs.

  • It is a great song. If you see the Wings live '79 Paul actually tells the audience to get up out of there seats for this track knowing the crowd would actually shake there rumps. The first time I heard the original track from the McCartney 2 lp it seems so flat compared to this one.

I always thought the Talking Heads took a lot from this song when they recorded Cross Eyed and Painless.

  • This is the kind of song you dance to :)

  • Modifproductions I have a single of this, along with the live version - including "Lunch Box / Odd Sox"! However, the label is orange. Please subscribe for more ranting and records.

  • The type of dancing I've see done to a beat this fast is usually Popping, Locking and Breaking. Stuff 99.9999999999% of McCartney's fans are to old to do. LOL!

  • oh you wher a letter off in the discription it is the coming up live version recorded at glasgow apollo theatre in the book of the wingspan cd set it is listed as mcCartney 2 + single so you are right on one thing!!

  • Yup!

  • Considering the history of the US and the Beatles, it would make sense for some crazyness like that to continue even into the 80's and beyond. :)

  • Yeah that does make sense. Probably they were lazy!
