I extemporise/ ramble about the Sanskrit Apadamapa healing mantra for a few minutes and then chant 54 repetitions of the mantra (i.e. half a mala), as a means for interested parties to learn how to chant it (as it's quite long). Peace.

Om Apadamapa Hataram Dataram Sarva Sampadam Loka Bhi Ramam Sri Raman Bhuyo Bhuyo Namam Yaham

If you want to skip my all-over-the-place introduction the chanting starts at about the 4 minute mark.

  • Thank you so much for sharing this. I am only a beginner and I definitely need to work on myself, but I was wondering if I can also use this mantra for my daughter who has autism/adhd? Can I for example recite the mantra for her each day, even if she isn't at home but at school? Perhaps focussing on a picture of her while reciting? Thank you.

  • @kattenbakske Namaste. I am no expert on these matters at all. However, i have personally used this mantra as part of a healing practice for others. I like to use a candle and a picture if possible. I can make no promises about anything but I choose to believe that a powerful and compassionate intention and the grace of the beloved can move mountains. Peace x

  • Thankyou! A Baba in India gave me this mantra to practise--by your video I could start the practice in a real good way! I have now listened to it many times and also put it out on my facebook fpr more people to get inspired. Bliss and Light from Ingela - spiritual artist

  • Thank you for the information. Perhaps I should get me a copy of the book of Thomas Ashley. I wasn't asking for guarantees, just pointers :-). I do believe indeed good intent is key in healing. Namasté.
