Why do we export coal and iron ore to Asia??? It is only going to be refined using the same process so why can't we refine our own resources in Australia?!?!?Why is our Government making impossible to value add to our resource base through taxing energy???

ETS is plain stupid. All you are doing is transferring or redistributing emission from one location to another. The incentive of profiting from energy-efficiency is the mechanism needed to reduce emission and the ETS is just another bureaucracy that will jeopardise and slow innovation and productivity.
