@smittyfromthecity The extremely short song lengths are a product of the grindcore and thrash musical lineage from which Naked City drew - bands like D.R.I., Napalm Death and Sore Throat were known for songs so fast and short they barely had time for a few guitar notes before the thing was over. Napalm Death was known for a song which consisted entirely of the words "you suffer but why" compressed into a single 2-second grunt over one momentary blast of guitar and drums.
