@tremendous112233 I just recently found out about this pairing. I remember seeing them together at the Cauliflower Alley Club reunion and wondered if they ever fought each other. AND I grew up watching Davey and Dynamite. I hope that match is here somewhere.

I remember Davey Boy saying like, “To tell the truth, I didn’t want to have a match with them. Think about our age difference. It felt like if I fought my father.” Back then, Dave was 22 and Nick 50. He’s got a point, you know LOL. On the other hand, his partner Dynamite Kid said, “I don’t think so. I learned a lot from them being in the ring."

@JonathanVonErich You got that right. After Vince began to invade territories nationwide in January 1984, we gotta be able to see kinda like collaboration strategy between the NWA and the AWA. Harley & Nick were involved in it. Back then, here in Japan, they were dubbed “The Dream Royal Combination” and participated in the ’84 Real World Tag Team League. The matches of Stan Hansen & Bruiser Brody against them and the British Bulldogs against them were quite spectacular in that tournament.

@mistasmif31 I think at the time of the match,Tsuruta was AWA champ and Race had lost his last NWA title the previous Thanksgiving. But I see what you mean. Still an epic tag team nonetheless.
