The Lord of the Rings (SNES) - Main Theme + The Shire - Piano

The game........ sucks, and the music is perhaps the only GOOD thing about it. If you ever have the chance to play this game, don't let it ruin its music for you. The songs are really good.

Of course it's repetitive, it's a NES game... what do you expect a progressive orchestra masterpiece..?

@johnnyequalsX I'm changing that sentence now. At the time, it was only repetative to me because of playing it for a few hours, without much change. And with a scope like LOTR, (It's an SNES game, btw,) one think there'd be a little more variety. Even the first Final Fantasy had more than just 3-4 songs to loop. But those two songs are pretty much orchestral (16-bit) masterpieces as-is. It would be awesome if there were a live version, though :D

The DOS version of this game is amazing. You should try it again, man, but this time on PC.

I actually have the DOS version, though I believe it's a demo. I just might piano-ize that version of the song. God, those were the good ol' days! :D

have you ever played SOS on the snes? (not the puzzle save or swim, the one that's based of The Poseidon Adventure) it has some really great music, exceeds anything the SNES done.

this game had a tremenduos influence from the 1978 Bakshi film, i really wished they had made just a port of the theme music. that would be awesome
