Pirates of the Burning Sea. I was a pirate investigating English harassment of a friendly port. I found two English ships engaged in separate battles. I figured I could fight them 1 on 1 if I jumped the first one to exit his battle. Unfortunately, as one exited his battle and I went to jump him, the other exited his battle as well and jumped in to make it 2v1.
It was my heavy, defensive frigate versus their fast attack frigate and a slow but deadly 4th rate! I had to try and keep the separated to fight them individually and try to stay away from that 4th rate, but I completely failed to notice that I was sailing into a dead-end cove. (When you see the shore line in front of me on the main screen is literally when I realized my predicament.)
Well, only one thing for it...
