TURN SPEAKERS WAY UP!!!!

Here's the sirens near me sounding for a Tornado Warning in Northeastern Hamilton County. As you can see, this is what it looks like in front of my new house in the daylight. Very stormy!!!!!

NOTE: I'm not sure why, but for some reason, I wasn't able to hear the 4/5 port Thunderbolt 1000T on top of Whitaker Elementary. I'm not sure if it's because it failed, or I just couldn't hear it because of the storm.

  • Was there really a tornado?

  • @Megafanman703 I dont think so

  • Did they change the policy bout setting sirens off when there is a severe thunderstorm warning inside a tornado watch, cause I didnt hear them yesterday or last nite with severe thunderstorm warnings?

  • @JAJone65 I never heard them either both of those times. I dont think they changed the policy since I heard that they sounded in downtown last night. Hamilton County seems to now only be activating sirens where exactly in the county the warnings are in. Yesterday afternoon, it was in a portion of NW hamilton county, and last night, it was in eastern hamilton county

  • @JAJone65 I just read an article on Local12's website that there's a new policy which the person on duty decides whether to sound sirens or not based on information from NWS/local meteorologists. This idiot on duty last night didnt sound them because it was a Severe Thunderstorm Warning with a Tornado Watch and not a Tornado Warning!

  • Where was this??
