  • I'm just starting to learn how to play this. I'm only in 9th grade so it's a little confusing. Any tips?

I love how you played this by the way =]

  • @trumptislife Listen to many recordings of it to get an idea of what it is supposed to sound like and the various interpretations. Then sing it. Then play it and record yourself. Listen to your recording and find what you like and what you don't like. Be picky. Work with the best pianist you can find. Identify your pitch problems and mark them in your part. Mark where you intend to breathe. Perform in front of people as much as you can. Breathe naturally. Don't force.

  • @finselbuch where can you find recordings of this besides on youtube?

  • @caridad757 amazon.com has a few CDs... I have Hickman's. Unfortunately, no mp3 downloads.

  • Awesome performance. I just did it for my jury yesterday and I nailed it.

  • @Rollydamaster thanks man... congrats on your jury... i'll be posting a new one after my spring recital may 15... unless it sucks :-)
