A fan amateur music video of Goldfrapp's album track from Black Cherry - Hairy Trees

Shot on mini DV last year as a part of Innocent Productions

Synopsis:
A boy finds a woodland fairy girl in the forest who leads him slowly deeper into her forest world. When they finally meet she gives him what he wants, but kills him for her troubles, laying his peaceful body to the forest floor to rest.
expect fiaries, lots of forest, woodland, trees - hairy and otherwise, a kiss, vampirism, disappearing fade effects and of course beautiful Goldfrapp music. And an inter-species kiss. Enjoy

Directed by Toby Andersen
and Rob Pearson

Starring Toby Andersen and Martha King

I have no claim to the music but all the visuals were us. hehe

  • That was awesome! I wish there were more videos like that on youtube! A favorite! I really appreciate fantasy settings & also what it would be like if fantasy creature were in this world living. :-)

  • cheers man glad u liked it - the idea is she's a woodland fairy / dryad girl - turned vampire at the end - i like myth creatures in real world too.

  • she disappeared, and then she reappeared only to walk away. Super powers are amazing.

  • ecellent argument, good intentions, poor scenery and interpretation thou, sorry, just being sincere.

  • nice music ~ I love the mood from your shots with the soundtrack, especially as she walks off into the distance at the very end...

Have you done anything else lately..?

  • That was wonderfully fun.

Invest in tripods; they could be your best friends.

I've learned that from experience. :/

    Great job though!
