I loooove the 917, - Steve McQueen drove it in the movie/documentary "le Mans"

@alexander1485 I was in the auction gallery this car sold in Monterey in 2000. This is a real 917 given to Steve from Porsche for doing the movie Lemans. . Although, it never raced.

that was a movie on a chase with a fake 917-10 with lee majors driving,
it was supposed to be a thing in the future about good guys vs bad ,
then Lee major's gets free of the bad guy's and the into the sunset type of ending where alls well, and the bad guys are all gone,

@acalthu no, this is real, I think the other one was a replica (good yea) or recreation (maybe someone found a spare engine?).
