Mr Bungle had it all. With Patton's solo stuff and Trey's work you hear the individual elements but together, in Bungle, it exploded in awesome congruence, and nothing they have done alone has matched it's brilliance, nor in my opinion come close.

Umm, in case anyone didn't realize (although this has been very recent), Trey played some shows with Mondo Cane, and Patton and Spruance played some shows together with Zorn. Hooray!

@cowbot2 ... um how 'bout Frank Zappa? Maybe not the metal aspects, Frank Zappa is amazing...
-
2:25 he's fucking insane

@michikuTV haha if I was someone who had never heard the recording I'd be like "played what perfect?" But yeah, this was perfect :D
-
WOW! THEY PLAY THIS PERFECT!

This used to be my wake-up song every morning. And the song I went to sleep to. :D I just wish that Mr. Bungle still got together and toured. D:

@LitanyCrash love Patton and Sprunance equally as musicians, but I don't understand why they have to continue to let what they originally called "small problems" into a huge division. Patton can come across as a hot-head, but Trey is a man who is constantly involved in the philosophical world, and he still avoids Mike like he's the plauge and vice versa, they just need to reunite Bungle and take over the world
Thanks =:-)
Trey Spruance is really great. His band Secret Chiefs 3 plays together with John Zorn in July at the Stone.
Shit, New York is not in my neighborhood!

I like how both Spruance & Patton have all these friends & musical collaborators in common (Eyvind Kang, John Zorn, Trevor Dunn, etc.) yet have still managed to completely avoid each other all these years. Little children! Sigh...
