@seasonedtoker they apply rust killer and then a rust sealer ...so it stops rusting ...but it still has its patina

okay this is a serious question. how much rust is good rust for a rat rod? without proper care rust can compromise the rigidity of the whole car. do people secretly lube or protect the welds and important areas?
