I wasn't sure if I needed to pre drill since the screws are so tiny. Thanks for that vid.

These two videos on how to install vintage tuners on a new headstock saved me from turning a new neck into firewood! Many thanks for the help Billy.

what size in mm do you suggest me for the drill screw? 1,2 mm is good?

Great video, really helpful.

This was just what I needed, without it I probably would have fouled up something. Thanks so much!

@afiqfalif You can get replacement necks from many places online like Allparts, Warmoth and my favorite Musikraft. -Billy

i bought tuners for a mighty mite neck and the bushings slide right through the holes and are a little bit loose, would they still work?

@andersforfang They will probably lift and sit in the hole on an angle....also fall out when you remove strings. Depending on the exact type of tuners you can get conversion bushings for the oversized hole. -Billy

Great video. Could I put these classic style tuners on my American Deluxe Stratocaster without any problems? I am referring to tuning issues. The stock Schallers are staggered.

@ykcor1138 I think that the actual holes in the headstock are too big and will require conversion bushings which are over-sized. You may need to add a string tree or two as well. -Billy
