Not all geologists and paleontologists are wrong at least not the 45% percent creationists scientists around the world. What scientists proffesors say to students is one thing what scientists in labs do and say is another.

Are you saying that 45% of geologists and paleontologists are Young Earth Creationists? Source?

I haven't had a chance to check out detecting design too much, but that second link only says that carbon-14 dating is "uncertain" especially on older samples and that's absolutely true. C-14 has a half life of only 5,730 years and as such it's not used on anything that people think is older than that. I could get into a discussion of dendrochronology and other ways which are often used to confirm the predictions made by C-14 dating but it would beside the point.

What matters here is that that link has literally nothing to do with the age of the Earth. Many different radioactive isotopes are used to determine the age of the Earth and they independently confirm each other. If you want to disprove radiometric dating as well the existence of an old Earth you would have to prove that each and every one of those methods is unreliable. And you should start with something with a half life which is at least greater than what you posit the age of the Earth to be.
