Volunteer Ambulance Driver Trying to Drum Up Customers?

You would think that a driver issued "Volunteer Ambulance Service" plates would know better than to blow through a piece of road labeled "SCHOOL XING," on the way to running a red light in front of this Upper West Side school, oblivious to the parents who have already entered the crosswalk (albeit a bit early) and that have the right of way. You would be wrong.

That's not an ambulance. It's a personally owned vehicle. If it was a female driver, then she wasn'ta Hatzolah member. For the record,very few EMS providers are "ambulance drivers"- we are EMT's, Advanced EMT's and Paramedics. This individual's poor driving,however, is also not a reflection of my profession.

We are EMTs and Paramedics, not ambulance drivers. I went to college to become a paramedic. Show some respect, and ny911emt is right, that is not an ambulance, it's a privately owned vehicle.

How was he racist? NY911EMT's comment is only factually accurrate. Why do you wish to victimize through baseless labeling just becasue you can't handle the truth? Or are you just angry because everyone here who has commented is also subliminally saying you should go out and do something constructive with your life instead of just wasting oxygen and being a drain on society.
